What customers say?

“ Great local spot in Manly, to enjoy the harbour breeze and a nice meal. The homemade spring rolls to start were really tasty, the bun cha looked quite plain on the plate but once you mixed in the ingredients and poured over the nicely balanced sauce it was great, the bahn mi was ok not the best I’ve had but far from the worst and the crispy pork vermicelli noodle salad was fresh and was packed with pork. Would definately come back to try more of the menu ”

“ Authentic Vietnamese flavors right in the heart of Manly! The Bun Cha had perfectly grilled pork and a delicious dipping sauce. We also tried the Banh Xeo (Vietnamese crepe)—it was incredibly crispy and packed with fresh ingredients. The service was very attentive, and the location couldn't be better, right opposite the ferry terminal. A must-try! ”

“ It's a really nice restaurant. The food is flavorful. Not greasy. The meat and the chicken are good quality. The dishes are full of flavor. Nice atmosphere. Good beer and wine. Nice service. Recommend ”

- Sam Zughbaba -

“ Great food. I found this place by accident in Manley Beach in Sydney but I am glad I tried it. I had the pho bowl and prawn rolls. I recommend trying it. ”

- Teagan Hill -

“ Pleasantly surprised! This place has an extensive menu with an array of traditional Vietnamese dishes. Great authentic Vietnamese flavours and super fresh ingredients. We went for lunch and had the Crab and Prawn Spring Rolls, Duck Pancakes, Bun Cha Hanoi Beef, Grilled Octopus and finished off with Banana Cake dessert. With the friendly service and a full bar with a good range of beers and wines we had a very enjoyable lunch. Service was delightful and the dishes were quickly on the table. ”

- Trevor Lawrie -

“ We stopped here for a quick lunch to check this new Vietnamese restaurant. “Why not” has slightly different menu to previous Vietnamese restaurant at the same spot, with more noodles and salad options so don’t expect the same choices . What we order was tasty, size of the dishes was regular and service was quick. We really appreciated that our waiter took our orders with a smile as my husband wanted his Pho without the coriander and I wanted my pancake without the prawns. ”

“ Food absolutely delicious. We had veg spring rolls, chicken satay and chicken claypot whose gravy/sauce was a fabulous surprise! Highly recommend. Please don't judge book by the cover. All food hot, fresh and yummy! ”

- Christine Hamilton -

“ Crispy noodle is delicious. Beef noodle soup is also good but the soup is not hot enough. Bbq octopus seasoning is on point to my liking 8/10 ”
